Who we are
A multi-artform studio practice, brought together to centre play, art and nature connection. Between us, we bring decades of experience across playwork, art, education and design.

She also leads The Playcycle, a flagship project under MADE CIC that delivers immersive sensory art and play experiences for children and families, creating spaces where they can explore, connect, and heal through play.

Artist-Playworker
Henrietta
Henrietta is an emerging artist, focused on the intersection of play, self-expression, and self-exploration. She has an interest in family & cultural history, Archiving, and Clowns. As a Playworker Henrietta engages in the use of clowning techniques to bring a sense of curiosity, and comedy to the way she encourages creativity and exploratory play.
Henrietta has a BA Hons Fine Art Degree from the University of Wolverhampton and over five years of experience working with children and teenagers, in and out of education. She has a belief that everyone can find their passions with enough play, laughter, and community support.

Maker-Builder
Gavin Campbell
Gavin is a maker, builder and designer with over a decade of experience across brand, design and creative production. He brings every Parakeet project to life by hand, working with existing materials wherever possible and always with an eye on minimal waste.
Founder of Midland Art Dept., a creative studio, Gavin brings a maker's instinct and an eye for detail to everything Parakeet builds - from mud kitchens and play structures to the wider art and neighbourhood projects that bring our work to life. Whatever the project, the aim is always the same: something that fits its space and lasts.
