Bearwood Welly Bank

Bearwood Welly Bank is a collaboration between Wild Lives Forest School, Parakeet & Bearwood Community Hub.

We are three organisations working in Birmingham and Sandwell with a shared aim to support local families to get outside for play and adventure. Having decent outdoor clothing and footwear is vital but can be expensive. Our goal is to help families get good quality pre-loved outdoor wear and prevent it going to landfill - good for the environment and good for families’ bank balances!

What does our Welly Bank do?

The Welly Bank connects local people who need outdoor wear with people who have preloved outdoor clothing and footwear to donate. We also hold a limited stock of items.

All items are exchanged for for free and should not to be sold/bought.

What can I find in the Welly Bank?

The Welly Bank is for outdoor clothing and footwear for babies, children and adults, including:

🌧 wellies / snow boots

☔️ waterproofs (separates or all in one)

🌈 waterproof jackets / coats

❄️ fleece / base layers etc

☀️ hats, gloves, scarves, warm thick socks

Which area does the Welly Bank cover?

We are based in Bearwood, Smethwick and cover surrounding areas.
